About OnlineHR
Good human resource management means an increased bottom line. There is no question about the importance of an organisation’s Human Resources (its people) - but unfortunately many people have lost sight of that fact. People are the most important asset in any business. Without them, all other functions within an organisation – operational, financial and managerial – would be irrelevant. Without people, businesses would cease to exist.
OnlineHR was established by senior Human Resources practitioner Emma Campbell, to help New Zealand businesses navigate their way successfully through the complex, comprehensive and frequently confusing issues that surround human resource management. Emma wanted to provide a service to New Zealand businesses that gives them access to generic human resource tools at no cost, provide quality, up-to-date and relevant HR advice and assistance at affordable rates, and to create an online community for people to communicate and collaborate with other businesses about HR issues.
Emma, who has worked extensively in Human Resources in New Zealand, Australia and the United States, is passionate about helping New Zealand businesses to succeed. Her initiatives and experience on policy development, biculturalism in the (New Zealand) workplace, change management and learning development have been widely recognised. Although Emma now lives in the United States with her husband Jean-Louis, their love for New Zealand and its people inspired her to establish OnlineHR specifically for New Zealand businesses. “Being away from New Zealand was difficult for me,” says Emma. “OnlineHR is a way for me to continue working for New Zealand and be with my husband. It’s a win/win situation!”
Testimonials
“I contracted Emma to develop an online HR and marketing course. She
mastered the software very quickly and produced a great course that my
clients were delighted with. Her success was based on her extensive
knowledge of HR and principles of education and development.”

"As an occupational therapist, I source temporary and permanent work
placements for clients re-entering the workforce following injury. I
have consulted with onlineHR in regards to development of CV's and
seeking appropriate placements for my clients (employer employee fit).
OnlineHR has greatly increased my ability to successfully and
permanently place clients by providing me with an understanding of how
to best market my clients skills and attributes to potential employers.
OnlineHR has assisted me with ways to approach employers concerns and
at times misconceptions about dealing with previous injuries. As an
online solution, I have been able to easily seek clear professional
advice at any stage of the return to work process. I fully advocate the
use of this unique service!"

"As
one of six ‘piloteers’ in 2008 delivering NZQA prescription based
business courses online across 6 New Zealand Polytechnics for a new,
exciting, collaborative service called MyLearn, it was pretty nerve
wracking! With just three weeks to launch, Emma Campbell provided an
excellent course from which to base our business paper. We worked with
two other stakeholders to meet, not only the NZQA prescriptions, but
also complex technical requirements, all the while envisaging the
client’s – end user - needs. The launch date was met. The service
provided was excellent in all areas, I would not hesitate in
recommending this organization and look forward to our continued
relationship."

"Emma
has been working with the ‘Development Team’ of the Skills Update
Training Institute on a short term project, developing assessments and
assessment schedules for a number of our courses. Emma’s reliability
and commitment to deadlines has been instrumental to the completion of
the project in a timely manner. She has great attention to detail,
excellent communication skills, and holds highest professional
integrity. Emma’s contribution to the project has been invaluable."
